Bobcat-Houlihan Campground

Bobcat-Houlihan Campground is a primitive Bureau of Land Management facility at the trailhead of the Bobcat-Houlihan Trail in Park County, Wyoming. Located deep in the South Fork Shoshone River Valley surrounded by the Absaroka Range. First-come, first-served, open year-round (winter access may be limited by snow on Park County Road 6EH). No advance reservations. Features interpretive kiosks, horse trailer parking, horse hitching rails, bear-proof food storage boxes, and vault toilets. Active grizzly bear habitat—practice proper food storage. Wildlife includes deer, moose, elk, black bears, grizzly bears, bald eagles, bobcats, coyotes, and mountain lions. Fishing access to South Fork Shoshone River adjacent.
