Blanchard Island Recreation Area
About this site
Blanchard Island Recreation Area is a Class B campground along the backwaters of the Mississippi River with 15 campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. The park features a boat ramp, concrete vault toilets, potable water hydrants, and a dump station. It offers a serene setting for fishing, hunting, and camping with views of Blanchard Chute. Access is via 2 miles on Hwy 92, then 4.5 miles on 322nd St. W, and 2.5 miles on gravel 176th St. W over the levee. Sites are first-come, first-served using Scan & Pay via Recreation.gov app (credit card only). Open May 15 through October 15. Quiet hours 10pm-7am, no generators during quiet hours, max 6 people and 2 vehicles per site.
