Blackeye's Plateau Camp

Blackeye's Plateau Camp is a backpacking campsite on the HBC Heritage Trail in British Columbia, located on a beautiful subalpine meadow plateau with low-lying shrubs including Cascade blueberries. It features pit toilets, bear caches, fire pits, and wooden benches. Some sites may have tent pads and picnic tables. Wooden sign boards provide trail history, and there is a log book. No reliable water sources for ~11km before reaching the camp; plan to carry water. Additional Info: Part of a network of 10 historic campsites along the 74km trail. Highest point on the trail. Accessible only by foot after hiking from trailheads or other camps.
