One of six yellow post campsites in San Bernardino National Forest's Black Mountain area near Idyllwild. Each site accommodates up to 8 persons and 2 vehicles maximum. Amenities include a picnic table and fire ring only. No water, restrooms, or trash containers available. High-clearance or 4WD vehicles recommended; trailers and RVs not suitable. 14-day camping limit. California Campfire Permit required for any fire use. Free, first-come, first-served camping. Road typically closed during winter months.
