Black Creek State Forest Campground
About this site
This rustic campground includes 23 shaded sites nestled along Black Creek. The area offers superb opportunities for fishing, paddling and mountain biking. The Pine Haven Pathway is a five-minute drive from the campground and offers excellent trails for hiking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing. Fishing is a popular activity among campers. The campground on the banks of Black Creek, also is close to the Pere Marquette River. There are nine sites for tent and trailer use. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a spigot. The campground is located 11.6 miles northeast of Midland via US-10 E. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations. Situated along the banks of Black Creek, this rustic campground offers great opportunities for paddle sports and fishing. Located in Midland County, 3.3 miles north of Sanford. Additional Info: - 23 total sites, with some paddle-in accessible (Sites 3-6, 9-11, 14, 15, 17, 20, 21). - Overnight fee $20 per site. - Managed by Wilson State Park. - Pet-friendly. - Operates spring through fall.
