Bishop Park Campground
About this site
Bishop Park Campground sits on the banks of the Middle Fork of Bishop Creek in Inyo National Forest, approximately 12 miles west of Bishop, at 8,400 feet elevation. The campground features 21 reservable sites with many walk-in tent sites positioned directly along the creek. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring with cooking grill, tent pad, and food storage box. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, and a campground host on site. The grassy lawns and streamside location make it a favorite among anglers and families. The campground is a launch point for the Inyo and John Muir Wilderness areas. Cell service is not available in the area. Pets are allowed but must be leashed at all times (maximum two per site). Bear boxes are provided and must be used. Firewood is available for purchase. Maximum vehicle length is 22 feet. Season runs mid-May through mid-October.
