Birch Lakes State Forest Campground features 24 shaded drive-in sites, five walk-in tent-only campsites, and a reservable group camp located near Big Birch Lake. Amenities include a boat landing, vault toilets, and a hand pump for drinking water. All regular sites are first come, first served. Pets are allowed. There are no showers, flush toilets, or hookups. Additional Info: Big Birch Lake offers fishing for panfish, crappie, smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye. On-site recreation includes bike trails, hiking trails, lake access with boat ramp, snowmobile trails, and a swimming beach. Group camp rate is $50 per night.
