Bighorn Campground
About this site
BIG HORN (Camping Area) Additional Info: Bighorn Campground is located in the Rock Creek drainage of Lolo National Forest, right on Rock Creek in an old growth Ponderosa Pine and Douglas Fir forest. The area is known for its blue ribbon trout stream and rugged canyon environment. The campground is open year-round, weather dependent, with no amenities from October through April. Trailers, motorhomes and tow vehicles are not recommended due to the narrow and rough road. Upgraded in 2023-2024 with new vault toilets, campsites, fire rings, picnic tables, and road improvements.
