Big South Campground Site 12 is a walk-in tent site in Roosevelt National Forest, best suited for tent camping. It is one of four sites, each with a picnic table and fire ring. The walk-in distance is about 100 feet on an unmainicured trail from parking. Great views with potential wildlife sightings including bear, deer, elk, moose, foxes, or mountain lion. Additional Info: - Suited for tent or small RV parking nearby, but site itself is walk-in. - Managed by USDA Forest Service.
