About this site
This single site is located on Big Salmon Lake. The shoreline is rocky and deep but still good for swimming. You can expect the hike to be 2 – 2.5 hours from the park office, 2 – 2.5 hours from the Big Salmon parking lot, 4 – 5 hours from the Perth road access. You can also canoe to this site in about 1.5 hours from the Big Salmon boat launch. There are no portages required to get to this site. Additional Info: This backcountry site is equipped with a fire pit, bench, privy/thunderbox, tent pad, picnic table, and food locker.
