Big River Regional Park consists of two locations: Cowan Lake Campground located at the end of Main Street and Community Centre Campground on the north side of town. Cowan Lake Campground features wide-open space accommodating any size of camper, with modern washroom/shower facilities, camp kitchen, filleting station, and playground. Community Centre Campground offers full-serviced and non-serviced sites with modern washroom/shower facilities, coin-operated laundry, ball diamonds, horseshoe pits, and playground. The park includes 61 full hook-up sites and 4 non-electric sites. Amenities include 30 and 50 amp service, boat launch, drinking water, firepits, fish cleaning facility, free internet, group camping, picnic areas, picnic shelters, and sewage disposal. Open mid-May to mid-September, daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
