Temporary Closed; due to hazardous trees. These sites are located in a rustic camp. Campsites are suitable for tents and trailers. This site is home to what was once; the world 's tallest ponderosa pine tree--it is now the second tallest! Facilities: 12 campsites with picnic tables, and fire pits, drinking water (hand pump), 3 vault toilets, trash service (during open season) Additional Info: Maximum stay limit is 14 days. Quiet hours are enforced between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. Dogs must be on leash. OHV/ATV use is prohibited. Check-in is 2:00 p.m.; check-out is 12:00 p.m. An additional vehicle fee of $2 per vehicle per day applies.
