Big Bog State Recreation Area Campground is located in the southern unit along the Tamarac River near Upper Red Lake. It offers 31 campsites, including 26 with electric hookups, winterized camper cabins, a sandy beach, picnic grounds, and fishing access. Each site has a table, fire ring, and grill. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and hot showers at the visitor center, vault toilets in the camping area, and trash collection. The campground is open year-round. Additional Info: - Handicap accessible fishing piers and boat accesses on the Tamarac River. - Visitor center with family-style shower and restroom available 24/7. - Accommodates vehicles up to 60 feet.
