Big Bend of the Colorado State Recreation Area is situated on the shores of the Colorado River at Nevada’s southern tip, offering about two miles of sandy shoreline. The park features a 24-unit campground accessible year-round with reservations, designed for RVs with water, electric, and sewer hookups, pull-through pads, tent pads, shade ramadas, barbecue grills, and fire pits. Three sites are ADA equipped. Restroom and shower facilities are available. There are also 8 first-come, first-served sites behind the main loop with fire rings, picnic tables, and shade structures, a short walk from facilities. Popular activities include camping, picnicking, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bird watching.
