Yellow Post Site #30 is a free, first-come-first-served dispersed camping site in the San Bernardino National Forest near Big Bear Lake, California. It offers a picnic table and fire ring, with scenic views of Big Bear Lake and Castle Rock nearby. The site accommodates a single party of up to 8 persons and 2 vehicles. Small trailers up to 20 feet are possible, but larger RVs are not recommended due to narrow roads and hairpin turns. Campfires are permitted only when fire restrictions allow; a free California campfire permit is required. Additional Info: Located off Mill Creek Rd on forest roads, accessible by car, van, or pickup truck (high clearance recommended). 14-day camping limit. Adventure Pass may be required for parking.
