Big Bear Yellow Post Site #2 is one of the individual dispersed campsites in the San Bernardino National Forest near Big Bear Lake, marked by a yellow post. These sites are first come, first served with no reservations. Limited to 8 persons and 2 vehicles maximum. Amenities include a picnic table and fire ring. No toilets, showers, or drinking water available. Pack in and pack out. An Adventure Pass or Interagency Pass is required for parking, and a free campfire permit is needed for fires when allowed. Additional Info: Accessible by car, van, or pickup truck via forest roads; small trailers up to 20 feet okay, but larger RVs not recommended due to narrow roads and turns.
