Big Bear Lake State Forest Campground

This beautiful, rustic campground sits on the north shore of Big Bear Lake surrounded by proud evergreens. Visitors enjoy the lake, its sandy shoreline, hiking and mountain biking on Big Bear Lake Pathway. The busy campground fills up often throughout the summer. There are 31 sites for tent and small trailer use. 11 sites can accommodate 30’ trailers/vehicles. The campground is located 1.5 miles southwest of Vienna Corners via Principal Meridian Road and Little Bear Lake Road. Additional Info: Sites available on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. No electrical available. Overnight fees ($20 for most sites) and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. One camping unit and six people are allowed per site. A boat launch to Big Bear Lake is located 1 mile south at Big Bear Point State Forest Campground. Panfish, pike and musky are caught in Big Bear Lake.
