Big Bar Camping Area
About this site
This is a large dispersed camping area along the Snake River in Hells Canyon. There are no formal parking or camping units. The camping area is used by both tent campers and RVs. Few amenities exist. There is one outhouse and informational sign near the entrance. Allison Creek Trailhead is across the Hells Canyon Road with access to Allison Creek Trail (#514). Additional Info: Open 24 hours/day, year-round. Limited to 14 consecutive nights per 30-day period. The gravel road leading to the campsites is rough terrain. No potable water available. Cell service (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile) is not available.
