Big Atlantic Gulch Campsite 5 is one of 10 individual campsites in the Big Atlantic Gulch Campground, a BLM-managed facility in the historic South Pass area of Wyoming, 1 mile from Highway 28 on the west side of Atlantic City Road. The campground offers basic amenities including fire rings, picnic tables, vault toilets, and seasonal drinking water (weather permitting). Sites accommodate medium-sized RVs, are first-come first-served with no reservations, and operate seasonally June through October. Area is bear habitat requiring proper food storage. Elevation 8,100 feet.
