Big Atlantic Gulch Campground

Big Atlantic Gulch Campground is a BLM-managed facility in the historic South Pass area of Wyoming, just one mile from Highway 28 near Atlantic City. It offers 10 campsites in a scenic high-elevation setting at approximately 8,000-8,100 feet. Amenities include fire rings, picnic tables, vault toilets, and seasonal water (weather permitting). Garbage collection is available, and there is occasionally a volunteer host on site. The campground is first-come, first-served with a 14-day limit. Bear safety precautions are required as it is bear country. Additional Info: Typical operating season is June 1 through October 31, subject to weather.
