Dispersed camping Additional Info: Berry Ridge Road is a free dispersed camping area in the Hoosier National Forest near Freetown, Indiana. The gravel forest road contains approximately nine primitive camping spots spaced far apart for excellent privacy. Sites accommodate tent camping and smaller RVs, with natural fire pits and plenty of deadwood available. No amenities are provided - this is true pack-in, pack-out camping with no water, electricity, or facilities. Standard Forest Service dispersed camping rules apply: camp at least 200 feet from trails, roads, and water sources.
