Bemis Hill Campground

Bemis Hill Campground is located within Beltrami Island State Forest in northern Minnesota near Wannaska. The campground features 2 primitive tent sites and 4 primitive equestrian sites in a wooded setting with flat and gently rolling terrain. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, potable water, toilets, and a sanitary dump station. The campground is open May through October and is first-come-first-served. Pets are allowed. A scenic overlook at the top of Bemis Hill offers views of the surrounding forest and is a popular spot for winter sledding. Nearby attractions include Hayes Lake State Park and the Roseau River. The campground is handicap accessible and features hiking trails and groomed snowmobile trails.
