Bell Farm Horse Camp
About this site
Bell Farm Horse Camp is located off Road 1363 in McCreary County and is a popular place for wagon train riders who come to "rest a spell." In the early 1900s, this area was a logging and mining town. In the 1930s, it transitioned into a Civilian Conservation Corps camp. Rock Creek, a Kentucky Wild River, runs alongside the camp. The camp features five group campsites suitable for 10-15 people per site. All sites have fire rings, picnic tables, lantern posts and tent pads. Stock water can be collected from Rock Creek. Additional Info: Open April 1st - November 15th. No fees required. Vault toilet available. Picnic tables at each site. Horse/pack animals allowed with negative Coggins test required.
