This quaint rustic campground is surrounded by a green forest and located on beautiful Beaufort Lake, a deep 462-acre lake that connects to George Lake and Ruth Lake. There are 7 sites for tent and small trailer use. The quiet remote location provides wonderful night sky viewing opportunities. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. A boat ramp provides access to Beaufort Lake on the west side of the campground. The campground provides access to state land open to hunting (firearm hunting not allowed within 450 feet of occupied dwellings). Overnight fees ($20 for most sites) are posted at the information kiosk.
