Bear Valley Group Campground is located in the PG&E Drum-Spaulding Watershed near Emigrant Gap, California. It accommodates up to 100 people for day use and up to 50 people for overnight camping. Multiple RVs fit on paved, level parking pads, and tent camping is permitted on the lawn and in wooded areas. Group campsites provide bear-proof food lockers, built-in barbecue, prep and serving tables, picnic-table seating, group fire pit, horseshoe pits, and sand volleyball court (bring your own net). The campground provides potable water and vault toilets. Nearby activities include swimming, boating, fishing on Bear and South Yuba rivers and Fuller, Rucker, and Spaulding lakes, and the Sierra Discovery Trail.
