About this site
Bear Island Lake has a sand beach and 4 backcountry campsites. Additional Info: There is a carry down access on the east side of the lake and a boat ramp on the southwest side. Please use facilities provided such as fire rings, tent pads, and latrines and pack out garbage. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a six-foot or shorter leash when not inside an enclosed vehicle or tent. Restrooms are not available at this site. Potable water is not available at this site.
