About this site

16 sites with picnic tables and fire rings. Located along Bear Creek, large equestrian camp onsite, too. Campground is open yearround; however, access may be limited. The M10 Road can become impassable due to high/fast water at the Rice Fork crossing. Additional Info: No potable water available. Two vault toilets. No fees required. High-clearance 4WD vehicles required for access; trailers cannot access the campground. Traditional routes via Elk Mountain Road and M10 Road are currently closed due to storm damage; access is available through Potter Valley or via Sam Alley using forest roads. Quiet hours enforced 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Located at 2,000 feet elevation within Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument.
