Bean Creek Basin Backcountry Camping
About this site
Backcountry campsite located in a sub-alpine meadow within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, accessible via the Bean Creek Trail (Trail 1391A) from the Beverly Creek Trailhead. The campground contains multiple multi-tent campsites situated in a stand of trees at the edge of a meadow teeming with wildflowers. Water is available from small creek beds on the west and southwest sides of the campsite, though availability decreases by late summer. No formal toilet facilities are available. The site is approximately 5.3 miles from the trailhead with 1,700 feet of elevation gain. Suitable for backpacking and day hiking; open June through October.
