Bayside Campground
About this site
Bayside Campground is the smallest campground at Bahia Honda State Park, located on Bahia Honda Key, 12 miles south of Marathon. The campground contains 8 sites (sites #73-80), all with picnic tables, grills, and water. All sites are non-electric. A vehicle height restriction of 6 feet 8 inches applies; vehicles must be able to pass under the Bahia Honda Bridge to access this campground. Restroom facilities are available on-site, and campers can use the bathhouse with hot showers in the nearby Buttonwood campground, located one-half mile away. Kayaks and snorkeling gear rentals are available, as well as boat trips to the reef for snorkeling excursions.
