Rustic campground with 25 sites for tents and small trailers, located along the Manistee River 12 miles northwest of Manton via M-42 and 31 Road. Shaded by old red pine plantation. Direct river access for canoeing, kayaking, and tubing with dedicated kayak landing. Fishing for brown and rainbow trout available. North Country Trail located one mile away for hiking. First-come, first-served basis with $20 nightly fee. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from hand-pump well. No electrical hookups. Maximum 15-day stay. Open year-round.
