Bastrop State Park

Bastrop State Park is a 2,054-acre state park in Bastrop County, Texas, managed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Located just east of Austin along State Highway 21, the park offers camping, swimming, picnicking, canoeing, hiking, birdwatching, and interpretive programs. It features forested trails, camping areas with water, electric, and sewer hookups, and is set in the unique Lost Pines region of Central Texas. Dogs are welcome with leash restrictions. Entrance fee is $5 per adult per day (13+), free for children 12 and under.
