Basin Campground
About this site
Basin Campground has 30 campsites in a heavily wooded area along the West Fork of Rock Creek in the Custer Gallatin National Forest. Campsites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite also has a parking spur (22 to 45 feet), table, fire ring and grill. The campground is usually open mid-May to mid-September. Amenities include drinking water vault toilets and trash collection. Most campsites are reservable, but about 20% are first-come, first-serve. Cell service is not available in the area. Additional Info: Sites are paved and mostly level and nestled in the pine trees. The area is popular for hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, hunting and fishing.
