Base Camp Family Campground is located at 7001 Base Camp Road, Alamosa, CO 81101, just 7 miles east of Alamosa in the San Luis Valley. It offers full hook-up RV sites with water, sewer, and electric (30/50 amp). Tent sites and dry cabins (electric only with mini-fridge) are coming in 2026. The campground features spacious sites, picnic tables, fire rings, bathhouse access, free WiFi, and is open year-round. Nearby attractions include Great Sand Dunes National Park (20-minute drive), Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and Blanca Peak trailheads. Additional Info: Open all year with gravel sites supporting up to 50 amp service and max vehicle length up to 112 feet.
