Bartoo Island Boat-in Campground Site 17 is a single boat-in campsite located on Bartoo Island in Priest Lake, Idaho Panhandle National Forests. All sites on the island are only reachable by boat. This site is in the Sunshine loop on the east side of the island with a vault toilet available. Rustic facilities include campfire rings and picnic tables at designated sites. Pets must be leashed. No potable water available; portable toilet required at some sites. Open late May to late October. 14-day camping limit. Maximum 10 people per site. Additional Info: Surrounded by clear waters of Priest Lake at 2,400 feet elevation. Quiet hours 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. No glass bottles on beaches. No bathing or washing in lake.
