Site 18 is a boat-in campsite in Loop Sunshine at Bartoo Island Boat-IN Campground, located on the east side of Bartoo Island at an elevation of 2,400 feet. The site accommodates 1-10 people and is lakefront with prime location and site ratings. Permitted equipment includes boats (max 30 ft.), large tents (max 12 ft.), and small tents (max 6 ft.). Campfires are allowed, and pets are permitted. Check-in and check-out times are 2:00 PM. The 219-acre island is surrounded by the clear waters of Priest Lake and is one of nine islands in the lake. Recreation includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, birding, wildlife viewing, and huckleberry picking (mid-July to early fall). The site is only accessible by boat from various launches around Priest Lake.
