Bartoo Island Boat-In Campground is located on Bartoo Island in Priest Lake, Idaho Panhandle National Forests. The 25-site campground is surrounded by clear waters and is only accessible by boat. Individual campsites feature fire pits with firewood provided, picnic tables, and bear-proof food storage boxes. Campers must bring their own portable toilet and drinking water. The island spans 219 acres and is one of nine islands on Priest Lake. Open late May through late October. Maximum 10 people per site, 14-day camping limit. Pets must be leashed. No glass bottles on beaches, no bathing or washing dishes in the lake. Quiet hours 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
