Barren River Lake State Resort Park offers a 99-site campground on the shores of a beautiful 10,000-acre lake in south-central Kentucky, located in Lucas, Kentucky about 20 minutes from Bowling Green and 45 minutes from Mammoth Cave National Park. The campground features 99 electric sites (most with pull-through configurations accommodating RVs up to 103 feet) and 2 primitive tent sites. Modern amenities include restrooms with hot showers, laundry facilities, drinking water, fire rings at each site, and a dump station. Electric and water hookups are available at most sites; sewer hookups are not available. The park offers extensive recreational facilities including a marina with over 140 boat slips and rentals (pontoon boats, jon boats, kayaks), an 18-hole golf course, horseback riding, tennis and basketball courts, a public beach with bathhouse, four miles of paved and woodland trails, and a camp store. Pets are allowed. The park also features a 51-room lodge and 22 cottages for alternative accommodations.
