Barfoot Park Campground
About this site
Barfoot Park Campground is a dispersed camping area in the Chiricahua Mountains of Coronado National Forest at approximately 8,200 feet elevation. It features picnic tables, meadows, talus slopes, and two permanent springs amid a mix of Sierra Madre and Rocky Mountain flora including four pine species. Access is via rugged roads requiring 4WD. The area was established in 1903 with a former ranger station and allows dispersed camping with plenty of space. Additional Info: Dispersed camping is permitted throughout the park.
