Barbecue Terrace is a primitive group campground in Mount Diablo State Park equipped with horse ties for equestrian use. Maximum 50 horses and 50 persons. RVs are not allowed. Features running water (subject to availability) and pit toilets. Additional Info: Group campsites require reservations via ReserveCalifornia up to 6 months in advance. Campgrounds mainly for tent camping but can accommodate RVs/trailers up to 20 feet in non-group areas. Maximum stay 15 consecutive days / 30 days per calendar year. During fire season (generally May to October), call park at 925-837-2525 or 925-837-0904 one day prior to confirm status.
