Balsam Lake Park - Fir Campground
About this site
Fir Campground is a small campground within Balsam Lake Provincial Park. The main area is wide open with electric sites and a trailer park feel. Several offshoot roads feature more private sites with tree cover, mostly non-electric. The park offers boating on the Trent-Severn Waterway, a large sandy beach, fishing for Walleye, Muskellunge, and Bass, canoe and kayak rentals, easy day-trip hiking trails, and a gift shop. Comfort stations throughout the park include flush toilets, showers, and laundry facilities.
