Balmorhea State Park features 34 campsites with water and electric hookups (20/30/50 amp service), picnic tables, and grills. Many sites have shade shelters over picnic tables. Restrooms with showers are nearby. There are pull-through and back-in sites for RVs, plus dedicated tent sites. The park is famous for its large spring-fed swimming pool (72-76°F year-round) from San Solomon Springs, restored cienegas with endangered fish, picnic sites, playground, outdoor sports area, park store, and ranger programs. Additional Info: - 18 back-in sites with electricity; some tent-only. - Pull-through sites: $35/night (all 20/30/50 amp). - No tents in pull-through sites. - Dump station available. - Pets allowed. - Fires allowed. - Contact: (432) 375-2370.
