BALD MOUNTAIN CAMPGROUND (Campground) Additional Info: Small, secluded campground in Boise National Forest with 4 campsites in a forested setting. Located approximately 14 miles from Idaho City via Forest Service Road 304 and FS Road 203. Seasonal operation from July through September, weather dependent. First-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. No potable water available on-site; vault toilets present. Trails from campground lead east to Middle Fork of Boise River and south from Thorn Creek Butte Lookout along Cottonwood Creek.
