About this site
This campground is located along the Chiwawa River, 20 miles from Fish Lake. There are a total of 11 campsites along the floor of a large glacial carved valley. Sites are occupied on a first come first served basis. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $22 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $11 per vehicle per night Additional Info: The final 5-mile section of Chiwawa River Road (FR 6200) is very rough gravel and dirt, unsuitable for low-clearance vehicles. Vault toilets are available. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table. No potable water. Pay on-site via Recreation.gov Scan & Pay (download app beforehand due to limited cell service). Extra vehicle fee $10-11/night.
