Atkinson Flat Campground
About this site
Atkinson Flat Campground is located along the Chiwawa River, 20 miles from Fish Lake in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. The campground features 11 first-come, first-served campsites situated on the floor of a large glacial-carved valley at an elevation of 2,500 feet. Each campsite includes a fire pit and picnic table. Facilities include vault toilets, but campers must bring their own water as potable water is not available. The final 5-mile section of Chiwawa River Road to the campground is very rough gravel and dirt, and may not be suitable for low-clearance vehicles. Sites cost $22 per night with an additional $11 fee for extra vehicles. Payment is handled on-site via QR code scanning with the Recreation.gov app.
