Assateague State Park Campground offers 342 campsites and 3 Youth Group sites, each with a fire ring and picnic table. Campsites accommodate tents, trailers, RVs, and most camping unit sizes, located steps from the beach. 30-amp electric hookups are available only in the G-Loop and I-Loop. Most sites are reservable from late April through late October. Wild horses roam freely among the campsites. The park features modern bathhouses with hot showers, flush toilets, drinking water, swimming beaches, a paved bike path, playground, nature center, and ranger station selling firewood and ice. Additional Info: Pet-friendly in select loops (H, I, J). Generators allowed outside quiet hours. ADA accessible sites available.
