A campground in the main boulder area on the Yellowstone District. Additional Info: Aspen Campground is located in the Custer Gallatin National Forest at an elevation of approximately 5,200 feet. The campground features 8 campsites with rustic facilities and limited amenities. Access road is not suitable for vehicles longer than 32 feet. The campground offers a back-to-basics experience with breathtaking mountain and forest views. Open year-round depending on weather conditions; access is limited during fall and winter due to snow.
