Aspen Campground is located 25 miles south of Big Timber on US 298, then 8.5 miles south on Main Boulder Road (County Road 212). The campground offers 8 campsites with a back-to-basics experience and limited facilities. Amenities include toilets, tables, fire rings, and parking. Potable water is available from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The campground road is not suitable for vehicles longer than 32 feet, with trailer/RV parking spurs averaging 20' x 32'. Open year-round depending on weather conditions, though access is limited during fall and winter due to snow. The site is open 24 hours daily. Overnight use costs $12 per night for a single site, with an additional $5 per night for each additional vehicle. The campground is known for breathtaking mountain and forest views and excellent fishing locations.
