Asher Creek Campground
About this site
Asher Creek Campground sits on the shore of Lake Wappapello in southeast Missouri, offering both tent and RV sites. The campground features basic campsites with parking pads, picnic tables, grills, and lantern posts. Some sites include electric hookups. Modern restrooms with hot showers and laundry facilities are available. A concrete boat ramp allows direct lake access for fishing, water skiing, and boating. A dump station is available for RV users. The Asher Creek Trail offers a 2-mile loop through the Ozark forest and along the Asher Creek arm of the lake. The campground is closed November through March and typically reopens in April. Additional park amenities include over 15 miles of multi-use trails, swimming beach, picnic areas, and playgrounds throughout Lake Wappapello State Park.
