Ash Camp is a small, undeveloped campground in Shasta National Forest near the McCloud River and Hawkins Creek, close to the Pacific Crest Trail. It offers shaded spots next to the rivers with access for hiking and fishing. There is a vault toilet available, but no piped drinking water—creek water from Hawkins Creek is an option, though the McCloud River has sediments. Additional Info: Access is now walk-in only as Forest Road 11 is closed to vehicles about half a mile north below the dam.
