Arestua Hut

Fantastic little ski lodge. 15 bucks a night. Maintained through the Colorado mountain club. Its a mile and some change away from the CDT trail. We came in from Yankee doodle lake which we drove to from rollinsville (very rough drive we had 2wd rear wheel drive but good clearance which was the limit.(however we did see a dude with a tiny old pop up van idk how he did it.)) To get here you have to climb the mountain and randomly take a turn to follow the gas pipeline over and down the other side of the mountain and maybe 1000ft -2000ft along the trail at a pipeline sign theres a opening in the trees with a blue diamond đšī¸ . The huts a stones through away from the trail at that point. There is cell service at the top of the mountain if you need help. It sucks tho. LOVE THIS HUT!
